Lash Lift

A lash lift and tint is the perfect low-maintenance option for those who want to bring their natural lashes out of hiding. Lasting 6-8 weeks, the process involves lifting and darkening your natural lashes to curl them up from the base of the lash line, leaving you looking and feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed.

You May Be Wondering

During a lash lift, your natural lashes are adhered to silicone shields and a chemical treatment is applied to break down the bonds that cause your lashes to grow in their current direction and resets them into their new, upright position. The lashes stay this way until they grow out.

The lash extension service involves gluing a synthentic lash onto the natural lash. This allows us to elongate and/or thicken the appearance of the lashes.

So long as you are visiting a reputable lash artist, lash extensions should never damage your natural lashes. Lash extensions come in a variety of weights, lengths and curls and the appropriate one should be selected based on the state of the natural lash.

A lash artist who understands volumetric calculations and practises proper isolation will be able to safely apply extensions that don’t overload the natural lash.

In order to maintain standards of quality and consistency, we do not infill the work of other lash artists. Should you wish to visit for lash extensions, please book in for a full set with a lash removal add-on.

You are more than welcome to request changes at your infill. We can go longer, fuller, shorter, and try different curls, mapping or styling! If you choose to amp up the density of your set, it is recommended that you book in for a longer infill time to ensure we’ve got you covered; more time = more lashes.

Lashes go through growth cycles. On average, we lose 2-5 lashes per day. This may be more noticeable now that you have something attached to your natural lash but fear not; lash shedding is totally normal and natural.

The most important thing is to keep them clean! Our skin produces oils and sheds skin cells, and if not cleaned properly, this will build up along the lashline and eat away at the adhesive, resulting in poor retention and may even lead to blepharitis and lash mites.

Wash your lashes daily with lash shampoo and a fluffy brush, focusing on the base of the lashes and gently sweeping to the tips. This can be purchased at the studio. Your lash artist will provide you with a lash brush. Use this to brush your lashes daily, too. This not only keeps your lashes uniform and free from debris, but it also encourages blood flow to the hair follicle, encouraging healthy growth.

As our lashes go through their growth cycle, they will shed and be replaced by new hairs. For this reason, it is recommended that you book an infill for your lash artist to replace extensions that have grown out or need to be replaced.

On average, this should be done at the 3-week mark. Depending on your own personal growth cycle and aftercare, you may need to come in at 2 weeks or may be able to push it out to 4 weeks.

For the first 24 hours, it’s important that you avoid steam, sweat or getting your lashes wet. Thereafter, you’ll want to avoid oil-based products on your lashes which will cause your lift to drop faster. Should you wish to wear mascara with your lift, do not use waterproof mascara. Brush your lashes daily and use a lash serum to help strengthen and keep your natural lashes healthy.

Depending on the aftercare and longevity of your lash lift, it is recommended that you book in around every 6 weeks.

Absolutely! In fact, it is highly recommended. Should you have lash extensions on, carefully apply your lash serum to your eyelid just above your lash line. This allows the serum to be absorbed by the skin and fed to the root of the hair follicle, allowing it to soak in and work its magic.
