Texture isn't just about creating random spikes; it's about intentional layering and working with the natural lash layers to build contrast between the peaks and valleys 🏞

How do we do this? Key points:

✨️ Keep a sufficient height difference between the peaks and valleys
✨️ Evenly space the peaks apart and ensure symmetry on both eyes to keep the set balanced

I love working with loose volume lashes to add soft texture 🧸

Here, I've used Nikki Rae Chocolate Brown Volume Lashes in 0.07 to keep this Coco set defined, but delicate 🤎 🪽 ✨️

Stock take - it’s one of those things no one rea

Stock take - it’s one of those things no one really teaches you about, right? 😅 When I first got started in the industry, I would just keep track of my stock in a notebook, but as my lash collection grew (and now, believe me when I tell you she is GROWN!), this was messy, so I’d just write down as and when I needed to order stock on my phone’s notes app, or a post-it at my desk… Also not really viable because when you’re booked back-to-back and run off your feet, you inevitably forget something, until it’s too late 🫣

Then, I created a spreadsheet with different tabs for different categories and set aside dedicated time for stock-take. A step in the right direction, but still pretty time-consuming; clicking back and forth and having to create a separate list again of stock that had to be ordered.

Now, I think I’ve got it! Colour-coded and categorised with an automatic view of products that are low so I can easily place my orders 🙌
